I’m creating this thread because I just picked up Black Ops for PS3. This would be a good place for us to all chat about it, give our opinions on the game, and maybe play online. 


If you have COD black ops please post what gaming system you have it for. I'm new to PS3, but I'm sure we all have a PIN or the like, post up those too.

Jer, good choice on the PS3.  Its the most powerful gaming platform out there.  You should pick up some PS3 exclusives like God of War III to see what your system can do.  I'm playin BO online.  Tell me your PS3 user name and I'll add you.  So far game is good.  Got a few kinks to work out.  Sooo much better than that MW2 trash Activision has been pettling for the last year.

depending how much my next check is i could have this by sat. night, for the ps3 as well, i think on mw2 i logged 18 days + some hours.

MW2 is good. I use my PS3 as a blu ray player. I don't think the online gaming comes close to Xbox Live.

The game has been great so far getting used to the online multilayer since now i have to play and win money to buy new weapons and attachments but the maps are great the detail has been amazing

I played about 10 minutes, hopefuly will log more time this week, like the game, and maps, getting use to the controls tho

Still haven't played online, but hooked on campaign. I'm in the hazmat area now, hoping to get some wireless headphones for xmas

I've only played online pushing level 50 for the second time. Game is pretty ill but, its time for some new maps.

People hating on PS3 online gameplay. They have stepped it up A LOT since it came out. I've owned both and yes the Xbox is better but the PS3 is not far behind.

I can't agree with that I own both, and have used both and they are night and day. No matter what on either platform this game is killing it.

You've played the same game on both platforms? What issues have you had on the PS3 with online gameplay?

Mike doesnt have the game on both platforms, just that he has both 360/PS3
