It really sucks. I hate how 16:9 monitors are so damn wide and short. 16:10 monitors are a lot better since they're a little more square. I can't really tell with my new 24" monitors though since they're so large.

Lol.. I have 24" monitors too, and I wish they were 16:10.  I dunno, I think its mostly the idea that I am missing some potential screen real estate.

So my phone took a dive and now am waiting on my Nexus 4 to come in some how i cant seem to live with phones with out root , Even though the spring line up is going to be nice i pass the fan boy phase and as long as its functional and "hackable" i can live . Did any of you tmobile users here the news on getting Lte ?

Slight thread revival. The other day I ordered a new am3 socket athlon dual core processor to replace my aging single core. Turns out, the stock motherboard that supposedly supports said chip, doesn't. So, today I ordered a replacement biostar mini atx board and a couple of 2 gig ddr3 ram sticks to replace that shitty Compaq board. The only thing that's going to be left of my 6 year old cheap desktop is the cabling and the case. Good thing about this new board, it supports AMD's octocores so I still have room to upgrade later and it also supports up to 16 gigs of ram. Not a bad initial upgrade investment of $130 if you ask me.

Just picked a galaxy tab 2 7.0 for myself and an ipad mini :shudder: for the wife. Getting ready to gain root access on the galaxy tab. Tech stuff is fun.

And for those wondering about my governement issued ipad, that shit is geeting turned in. I dont need uncle Sam spying on me through that thing.

Question...shopping for a flat screen tv. Maybe a 55 or up. No higher than a 60 inch. No plasma.. what do you guys recommend for companies? Got around 1k for a budget. It's a little intimidating...lol

I particularly like Sony, Sharp, and some Samsungs.
