Well got off the phone with my insurance agent. Looks like they aren’t taking on any new policies under I-10. So I’ve got to adjust my home search. No biggie. Homes 45 minutes west of there are 3000sq ft with a pool, two stories, etc for the same price. PWNAGE!

Tim, If you can hold off a year I will probably be buying a house In about a year if I get this new job and everything goes the way they are looking. I am sure you could find a comparable paying job here.
And Jer, Stay away from a "baloon" rate. That is my contribution
And Damn Bill, Caling me out in a thread I had not even made an appearance in, that is low Sir.

Makes me want to move in. I can supply a grill, mini fridge, and home theater system!!
I'd move Tim in just to have that hella-awesome Bose surround sound system...

I want a house so badly. Makes me sad. I have simple requirements. 2 car garage, grass, no shared driveways.

A little late on that one Country. Ohh yeah. For the record, I actually have 3 Bose surround sound systems. Even my guest bedroom has 5.1 surround sound. It's just not hooked up.
Even though I'm renting still, having a bigger place with a garage is so much fucking better than the apartment I was renting. If things go well out here, I'm going to probably settle and buy a house. I'm thinking that I need a place with a 4 car garage and a twin post lift though. The 2 car isn't big enough and I want to build a race car.

Well, I'm about to sign the contract with my builder to add about 400 sq ft (including another bath thank god) to the house. Why buy bigger when you can add on for $0.25 on the dollar! Buying again mean carpet, granite, paint, landscaping, etc, etc, etc all over again. Also adding onto the driveway so I have room for the vette when it arrives. Too much to do...

Do you own the land or is it truly "family" land?
