So how would you guys recommend getting into Manhattan? I'm planning on driving down from Albany to get near the city, then take a train the rest of the way in. Any place that you guys would recommend to park and ride a train?

Any place that you can park and take the train should be good. I've done it before, but it was a long time ago. You going to take 87 to 287?

well we ended up taking a train from Poughkeepsie into grand central, and walked around most of the day. we even saw the top gear crew filming by central park with a Ferrari, Mercedes, and a Porsche.
