Of course there are other apps out there for overclocking and shit like that but since I don't have a custom kernel, I won't get into those.
Anyone else care to share what they've found?

Everything I listed is in the marketplace. I'm gonna have to check out finger football. Another app I like is ultra keyboard. Very customizable.

I just switched over to MIUI ROM.. it's kind of a blend of iOS and Android, very customizable, and easily themed.  Its an AOSP based ROM.  I'm still trying to play around with it, but it's not bad so far.  If you miss things about iOS (i wouldn't know never had an iphone) then you may like MIUI.. it's available for most phones depending on how much development is happening for your phone.  go to miui.us if you want to see what I'm talking about.

There isn't much development for my phone and I don't really care if there was. I just had another one crap out on me. That will be four phones in three months. Fucked up part is that AT&T won't give me a different phone. They changed that policy 6 months ago.

Most cell phone companies are pulling that shit.  They keep pushing out phones that are less and less stable, but pass the buck to the customer by changing their "policies" to only benefit the company and screw the customer.  In short, almost all these cell phone companies screw their customers.

Z, what kind of problems have you been having? That's pretty ridiculous. I'm only on my second phone after a year or so, and that was due to a glitchy screen on the first. My refurbished replacement has been flawless though. Another nice thing is that the refurbished phones overclock way higher than the launch day phones, so that's a plus.

Brian, I have to say, MIUI is pretty sweet ROM, I love the eye candy. However, with my particular phone, it's still pretty darn buggy, so I had to switch back to Cyanogenmod. The theme manager would force close all the time, and that's like the main thing about MIUI.

I've been pretty satisfied with Cyanogenmod. I'm using the HTC Elegance theme, so it looks pretty nice. I hate following with every nightly, so I just update every 25 or so.

Well, it seems my model phone isn't supported by Tasker so whenever I try to install, it never fully installs and forces my phone into a boot loop. Granted, I induced the problem but since none of the aftermarket recoveries work for my phone (which blows), I'm stuck with the stock recovery. I haven't figured out a way to get out of it yet and frankly, I don't feel like doing it. I'm going to try and get this current replcement out of the loop tonight but if I can't, I'm going to wipe the fucking thing and get it stuck in fastboot and demand a phone that's worth a shit even if its an older model.

yeah, it runs pretty smooth on my Droid Incredible 2, but I've found it force closing on a large amount of things.  I may end up switching to CM7 with the Tiamat kernel.  I just flashed that kernel last night and i'm testing it out today.  it's undervolted and overclocked, so we'll see what my battery life looks like. I'm lost 6% since it's been off the charger (7:40am to now, 9:15am... 1hour 25min) so I dont know..

Z, is there any other phone that you would consider on att?  just keep bitching.  Maybe see if you can get a new phone, but offer to pay half of the upgrade price.. (usually 100 or so).  although, I agree that you should be able to get a new phone for free at this point..
