I phone help... When I am on a phone call and a text message comes in it still makes the text tone in my ear anyone know a fix for this?

I guess I either did not see it or I have forgotten... it just sucks when you are on the phone with a traffic investigator about you wrecking a cop car and everyone else there is texting you telling you what to say like you are incapable of handling your own damn business...

any one else here on VZW having intermittent data? my phone continues to drop 3g service whenever I try to invoke it for an app or browsing. This is a known issue among the developer community, but VZW has not acknowledged it yet..

I've been having issues with my Droid X too. Sometimes when I am trying to search for a place on the Places app, 3G just drops. Or if i try to load a webpage, it just drops. Other times, 3G won't drop, but not data will be sent or received, causing me to have to enable airplane mode then disabling it.
It was way worse a month or two ago... it seems to be getting better in my area. But of course, it still drops out whenever you need it the most!

yeah, it's just dropping for no reason. From what I've heard, Jeff, calling VZW tier 2 tech support or higher, try to get them to do an ESN swap or DMU reset, and it has shown to fix the problem. Their database got corrupted somehow and that's been the solution among the dev's at XDA so far. what pisses me off is that my fiancee's phone (exactly the same, except she's not rooted and ROMed) is having no issues with data at all. Fuck VZW.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm having the same problems with my completely unmolested phone. I have a new one sitting in my living room though.
