Just thought I'd post this comparison with the new shared data plan to show the "savings."
Doesn't really make sense, because when Ariel and I talked about it on the phone, we were supposed to save about $20 a month. Strange. No worries, this just means I get to keep my unlimited data for another 2 years!
Thanks again for all your help Ariel. However I am having one problem with my new phone that I have been having since my Droid X. I constantly get duplicate text messages, and at times my texts won't send out, and I have to resend them like two to three times until they finally go out. Any idea what could be causing this?

I'll look into it for you Jeff about the SIII.
About the shareeverything, it either saves you a lot, saves a little or you'll be around the same.
For example: If you made that LG env3 a smartphone, it would be $299.93 compared to $270 with shareeverything. Even if you got 8GB, would only be $280 compared to $299.93. See?
I still have to waive your upgrade fee Jeff, I haven't forgotten.

I saved about $30 a month when I added GF last week. I was payin $108 a month for just my DX with unlimited data, 450 min and unlim texting. Now Im paying $140 for unlim minutes, unlim texting and 2 GBs of shared data, for two phones. And we both looked into our data and neither of us ever goes over 1 gb of data.

I'm fairly certain I'm not going to be a victim of the upgrade cycle anymore. From here on out, I'm planning to buy phones at full price. Plus it's the only way I can keep unlimited data.

If I had unlimited data, I would do the same.

So long as ATT doesn't make the same bullshit move, I will always have my unlimited data even if it gets throttled were I to use "too much".

T mobile is going to start offering a truly unlimited 4g plan. No data reductions due to usage etc. Price is set at 30 on regular plans and 20 on value plans. This could change the game a little.

Metro is CDMA though. Not sure if Tmo and Metro operate on the same frequencies though.
