My take on that is, its the responsibility of the married party to deny the indescretion. It's fair game for the single person to try. People are adults and should understand their commitments. If they choose to do otherwise then that's their issue.

I'm in complete agreement. Like I said before, if I were a single man, I'd totally go for it. Its a challenge in the single man's eyes. The married chick, on the other hand, would probably end up divorced for said indiscretion but that would of no consequence to the single man. Its her own damn fault for going through with it. That also applies to the opposite situation BTW.

Oh I get what you're saying and it has crossed my mind, but I'm also in the situation of wearing the uniform of a department who is looking to cut anyone they can and said attempt could lead to complaint which would lead to the loss of my source of income

I'd be very angry as well, but, like I said, you can't hold the dude responsible. He's not the one who's in a married relationship, she is. If the marriage mattered to her at all, nothing would've happened. That goes both ways. Rule of thumb, don't be chasing any strange.
