I'm okay with that, but my boss would still be an asshole. Right now I need a better job in a different location. I'm currently trying to make that happen.

I hear ya man. I hate the fact that my job keeps getting worse and worse. Imagine coming into a job 5 years ago where everyone is friendly and the environment is kinda fun and your boss is mellow about a lot of stuff. Over time the job remains the same, but they start to micromanage everything and the management become bigger and bigger pricks. I've been micromanaged beyond belief and my jackass bosses are just policy monkeys that can't think for themselves. The fact that the engineers design shit poorly and impractically and the products are over priced can also make it more difficult to deal with the entire job. In general, I hate showing up every day and can't wait to leave as soon as I walk in the door. The sad part is that I used to like my job, but because of poor management and changes in the department I hate my life.

I've realized that Canadians are the worst offenders when it comes to people that ask for your advice, when they're really only looking for validation to do what they want. Is anyone else pissed off by Canadians?
