Well, in all fairness, I applied for this job on Wednesday last week. I heard through the grapevine that the manager of that team was asking about me on Thursday. I received an email from the staffing person for a meeting on Friday. I actually had a meeting with the staffing person yesterday and my resume is being forwarded on to the manager for an interview. I think things are going along just fine. I'm just hoping that I impress them enough to get the job, though I am doing everything I can to show my interest for the position. Having a friend that went through this process a few months ago is very helpful and he has been an valuable asset.
