I can't take the credit for that one. There's some dude that used that method over on 8thcivic because he was afraid of his wife strangling him if he screwed up the actual oven. Let me tell you though, it worked!

Then scratch the itch D. On another note, I decided to take my crap OEM headlights to work and fiddle with them. Its amazing how well a ghetto oven works at opening those bad boys up. Maybe I'll make some new lenses for them and sell them.

Definition of a ghetto oven: A cardboard box slightly larger than the item with a small hole in one side large enough for the nozzle of a heat gun to fit.

How's that for ingenuity?

The dude I got the idea from did it in his living room. I thought the same thing so that's why I gave the other guys a heads up to be ready with a fire extinguisher, lol. Surprisingly, the box didn't get that warm. All it did was keep the hot air concentrated on the headlights to soften the glue. A good 5-10 minutes did the trick.

I would just like to say that Tim's and JT's new signatures are fucking awesome, makes me want to blow all of my money on my car.

On a side note, 8 hours till an Exam, 4 weeks of material done, 4 weeks left. I'm on my third cup of coffee and I have two more sitting here; I probably shouldn't be on ECM writing sentences with the wrong punctuation.

Someone sell me a supercup kit for $100 dammit! Please? My car really wants to be lowered....

What are the best jack points for the rear of the car if I'm going to be sitting on them for a long period of time? I know that there's the little bar thingies on the sides of the car under the rear doors (I think), but I don't know if that'll keep the car stable enough. Feels like if I put the rear of the car on those jack points, the car could still wobble around. Maybe I'm wrong and being too paranoid, lol. Any ideas?

You are being paranoid. Jack stands usually have three points on their bases so it should be stable unless a rhino comes around and t bones your car while its in the air.
