Once I had a 5am flight and a 30 minute drive in the airport bus, with a hangover (along with a 4 hr flight). No fun. 8 hours of training doesn't seem like fun, sober or not.

It's like our house knows I'm trying to finish my projects and it just laughs in my face! Now we have some pipe blockage which is affecting the sink, dishwasher and downstairs shower. It's not purdy. Might be septic, although it doesn't smell like septic.

I drove up to MI to my parents house today. Stopped at my wicked smarty pants friend's house for him to update the firmware on the CAN converter in my ECU.

Going to be heading to Canada tomorrow to help my dad with some work on his boat. Hoping to get done early enough to get back in time to hang out with Milan.

There's a thread on a G37 forum. Basically says the 7AT is faster than the 6MT.

Whatever, right. But you can only imagine the conversation erupted. Some douche says the auto G37 is boring. Well of course I piped in and said I beg to differ. He basically says I've either "never driven a 6MT or I'm not a true car enthusiast". So by his standards, everyone who drives an auto isn't a car enthusiast?? f**king moron. Of course I posted a pic of my S2k and told him to s the d. Sorry but that rubbed me the wrong way. I hate people.

auto could be faster if it is gearr shorter than the 6mt. But unless it is a dsg or twin clutch tranney the shift are going to be slow

It is geared shorter, at least through the first 4 gears, after that it's about the same.

AT runs 0-60 in 5 sec flat and does 1/4mile in 13.5s

Seems like a ridiculous argument.  Some people like AT's, or don't know how to drive a MT.  I think it depends on the transmission and the purpose of the car.  For a street car, both can be fun if engineered properly.  For racing applications, an AT is faster.  Why do you think so many people are using TH400's in drag cars?  I will admit, for a true spirited street driving experience, a MT is more fun.  But if I was building a serious drag car, I would have a TH400 or Rossler 2 speed.  I've been eyeballing sequential gear boxes lately for my next build.  That's the best option for anyone that wants the control of a MT, but the simplified shifting of an AT.
