I broke my catalytic converter for being little too low.. it totally cracked according to my mechanic.. now question is
1. where could I find a use oem one?
2. if I cant find a used oem one, which one should I get and will it pass smog in cali?
Hope this is the right place to put this topic

Magnaflow also makes a bolt on replacement that may be legit in Cali that is a lot less expensive than OEM. The site that David linked is also a good place to find parts.

Have to be careful some of the Cats they sell are not direct bolt in, and required welding to fit. Generally on 4 cyl cars the Cat is part of the front exhaust pipe.

When we did Keith's exhaust, we used a Magnaflow cat and it was a direct bolt on replacement. I'll try to find the part number when I have time.
