im hoping to have my wheels before IA..."hoping" i found a great deal at speed-element.com where all they sell are drag wheels...so im looking at getting the 18X7.5 +45mm offset DR-21's in the gunmetal and then lowering it about 1.6 in

Why not get the real thing instead of some knock offs that will probably bend or break when you hit a pot hole? I'm pretty sure that drags are held to the same quality control standards as rotas.

because enkei rpf1's are almost 300-350 for 18's...and a lot of ppl i know who have drags say they last pretty long...

Try spending a grand on just tires lol. Drag aren't that bad, just avoid pot holes

i avoid potholes now and my car is still stock lol...its just speed bumps i cant get around...when i lived at my old apartment complex they put in almost 15 speed bumps and i found a route to avoid 13 of them haha

LOL, I used to always do that when I was lowered, even now with the S2k I have to watch the speed bumps. Luckily I do live around alot of crappy roads, they just tend to flood alot, no CAI for me :

i would love to upgrade my engine with performance but theres not a whole lot you can do with the a8 model...correct m e if im wrong though

Nope, you can definitely upgrade as long as you're willing to spend the cash and do it right. There are 2 guys that have A8's that have swapped a head with real VTEC and are running KPro.
