well mike. i payed about 155 (inlcuding shippinig) or at least around there. for a brandnew one from acuraoemparts.com.
it was shipped quickly, so im satisfied. thats the cheapest store i know of. but there are soo many forums with used ones, just use common sense and know they're legit.
but I LOVE MINE!

man guys, college is giving me problems with the accord. my mom is tellin me she'll give me like "grad" money if i get accepted into DUKE, but more if i go to West Point.
this sucks, cuz if i go to West Point, i wont be able to drive my accord, meaning ill probably stop the cm modding and buy a new car. by that time honda will stop making the s2k. if she gave me the same amount to go to Duke, the Accord will be SEX. so im in a predicament. lmao. just my rant for the day.

i have heard mixxed opinions on west point mostly what i have heard is that if you are not hard core into the military and want that to be your career west point is not the school

well. i plan on doing pre med at duke. doing ROTC and joining the Army. once im in, im gonna try to apply for them to pay for my medical school so i can be an MD. hopefully right after i grad so i can go to Duke's med school. i do wanna make a 20 year career from the ARmy though. after that ill get out and start my own practice. but the Army is where my main career will be. thats why i kinda wanna go to SHIT. (south hudson institute of technology aka WEST POINT) lmao.

chattanooga isn't that far away, we should meet up more often. I'm definetly down for the pigeon forge meet, I'm flexible with days since i got plenty of vacation days left

Huntsville sounds good to me for march. April could work for Pigeon Forge... what dates are yall thinking for it? Like i said i can get a condo that sleep 6 for 70 a night and the condo is awesome 2 br 2 bath full kitchen(and grills out back for matt). and a dining area and a living area. and a indoor and outdoor pool round the clock security on the parking lots... and the indoor pool/jacuzzi if you are over 18 you can be in there until like 2am. if you google oakmont resort pigeon forge thats the place. The first, third, and fifth weeks in april are my short weeks which means i would be able to take off and not burn as many days.

i will get my pictures posted up when i get home later on tonight. and i started my car this morning and the radio works fine again. i don't know what happened to it.

i think the chattavegas air does that to honda cd players mine has done it once

hey matt how long did it take you to install your supercup kit?

with 2 people* , air tools, and a lift it took me under 2 hours with the front and rear camber kit and an alignment. But that was flying through the install

*[actually 3 but all he did was loosen my sway bar end link for no reason and forgot to tighten it back down, so I don't really count him]

Well, my tax money should be here friday and i get 800 of it to spend so next monday i will get my tint done and place my order for supercup!!!

where is the best(affordable) place to get a camber kit?


I have found a springtech F&R camber kit for around 170 or for 100 more i can get the ingalls f and r camber kit both on ebay

well im too lazy to check prices. but ultrarev.com has really good prices on stuff. they have an eibach supercup kit for 571.00 i remember that one lmao. but they have ingalls and eibach camber kits on there.

Those would've been my first choice if they were dampening adjustable but they don't make the Pro-C for the cm chassis

they make the Pro-S which the S stands for street. but then they have their Competition series [Pro-C] which features dampening/rebound adjusments and external reservoirs along with a monotube design. but yeah the Pro-S will work on our cars, I'm just wandering how stiff they are from factory, if you wanna get them to test them out I'll trade you for the supercup and throw you extra money to go with it if the skunk2's are too stiff fo you. I'm gonna come down to chattanooga in a couple weekends and let you drive my car on full stiff and full soft so you can see what you like better.

howabout Fort Payne Alabama, March 8th or 15th? It's pretty central to everyone and has some great spots for photos. They have picnic tables and some grills too if i remember correctly.

The name of the park is Little River Canyon. Its about 15 minutes south of Fort Payne.

if the coilovers are too stiff, and you dont track, why go for em. you're right. i think abailey4 on here bought basics because they only needed a drop at the time. and later they're gonna upgrade to ss's. i say buy what you really want when u can, dont rush into it becuase u dont have enough cash right this second. that way u wont buy two sets of suspension. maybe a little patience for cash will pay off when u have the new set of JIC magic coilovers or KW variant 3's or something wild. lmao.

when i originally bought my car i didn't have fog lights. the install is pretty straightforward. here are the instructions. sometimes with the ebay fogs they will send the wrong harness so look it over and make sure it is correct before beginning the install.

Johnnys fogs look killer at night btw. they're really yellow and project a visible enough line on the ground to see in your rear view. Hope mine will turn out like that too. We do need pics though Johnny!

alright for 500 you might could get a good set up of skunk2 springs and some decent shocks or... for 100 more and free shipping you could get matts setup which is what i originally wanted but i was on a budget as well thats why when i get my bike sold i plan on buying either koni or kyb shocks to make up for my cheapness and not buying the supercup kit(matts setup). Now, the downside to negative camber is that it eats thru tires just the insides tho. a friend of mine told me there is one way around it that he knows of(he had a slemmed karman ghia) make friends with a guy that works at a tire shop and get him to switch the tires around every so often which some what doubles the inside tread life... he was retarded but it could possibly work if not call trey edward and bitch at him. the other day i stumbled upon a a website that showed how much negative camber you would get from x amount of drop... i cant find it right now but i am trying to find it and when i do i will deff post it. if i remember correctly matt is the camber tuning wizard he may be able to tell you more than i

You'll still need to pull your fenders as much as your rears are sticking out. Then with so much excess camber you're running into 3 problems

1. strut clearence. get the ebay coilover kit as that's the only thing that'll allow you to go low enough on your budget  and the springs have a smaller diameter ontop of being shorter. get a set of stock shocks and shorten the shaft. if not then bulk up on stock rear shocks.

2. tire wear. and I know that 265's aren't cheap. at all. you might have to go down to a 255 and bulk up on as many cheap ones as you can find.

last but not least which will determine if it's even possible:

3. finding a camber kit with enough negative adjustment

you'll have to pull a ton of camber in the rear AND slam it as well [the lower the car the more negative static camber you gain from the original suspension geometry design]

your tire WILL have to be tucked and your lip will be about a half an inch away from your rear fender. The only way to do it without getting a different set of wheels. I hope you don't commute a lot.

car will look amazing, but it's all show. and a lot of work. Now is the time to ask yourself if you're commited to this.

savannah would be hellacool it is really cool down there just set your suspension on the softest possible setting. Cobblestone roads suck even in a stock suspension SUV.

Spanky's on River St. down there was ok not the greatest place ever but decent.

All I know is that Rachel Ray was down there with her $40/day show....and it made me want to get my fried chicken on.

Plus it's a pretty city.

welp guys i got the other two wheels today now i am just waiting on firestone to call me back to tell me they found me 2 more fuzion zri tires i got the last 2 they had for 54 a tire yesterday in 245 45 17 and they are lookin for 2 more for me

those may be hard to find. they have been discontinued for almost 10 months now. we only had about 10 fuzion tires in the stockroom when i quit firestone 2 weeks ago, all of them in really weird sizes too. that is a really good price on them though. hopefully they can find you 2 more.

i know OT, but my friend had the fuzions put on that volvo he brought one time (which he is getting rid of for a gen7 a!!1) he kept telling me about it making wierd noises, i guess the tire place didnt know they were directional or something and somehow put them on backwards making a wierd whinning noise. i told him to bring em in to switch it, and the problem was solved. what idiots? .

lol...a custom exhaust is cheap man. my friend got 2.5" duals on his 91 caprice with flowmasters and tips for less than 400. im sure a 2.25" single catback would be cheap man. (if what you wrote above was referring to you getting a cheap exhaust lol)

it still had stock piping so you could barely hear the mufflers. I'm definetly getting a Skunk2 megapower muffler though, all i gotta do is take off the axle-piping with the muffler and weld on a new one, or replicate that piece and then weld on the skunk2 muffler so I can switch back and forth if I want to.

i got mine thru directtuning for 228 shipped best deal on them i found... i believe the skunk2 springs give you more drop but as far as ride quality goes i think they have a higher spring rate i will look into them for you and find out the difference in spring rate

so today i got a package in the mail labeled "bullshit and liar" with Tein SS-P's with pilowball uppermounts and EDFC controllers coilovers in the box. i installed em in about 5 minutes and fine tuned em myself in my driveway.

well it depends on how you drive. im 16 and asian so about 3.5 hrs. literally no lie, i drove from some town in south atl to my house in like 3  hrs 15minutes.
but anyways...
from north atl it may be a good 5hrs with medium traffic, if there is no traffic 4hr at most.
savannah is 30 min north of here.
u go 75 south, 16 east and ( if youre headed to sav) u follow 16 into savannah.
if youre headed to hilton head, you hit 95 North off of 16 and go like 10 minutes.
if youre headed to my crib, the easiest way is to hit 95 south and ill meet yall like 16 minutes from where you got onto 95 from 16.

I could whip it like thien. so there advantages of keeping the auto, and the obvious disadvantages.
The coupe would be 03-05. obviously a stick.
The Sedan would be 06-07. and a stick.
The TSX would deff be a 6spd. <3.

saturday we'll do suspension and call your alignment guy and do all  of that.
sunday we can ride out again to the accord  meet. ?
say i do my brakes earlier and dont do the wheels. Do you think we can get the suspension in on friday? or you get home too late?

suspension is 2 hours max but we'll need and Impact gun to get the camber arm bolts loose so we won't be able to do until BIG M gets here

yeah you can do the brakes on base, it's not that hard just remember to do 2 things:

1. Drown the rotor and pads in brake parts cleaner after the install.

2. Folow Matts "rotor+pad break-in/curing procedure"

And you're set.

It certainly needs to be done.  Got 140K+ on the original shocks and i can feel it.  I got the full suspension setup, springs and all, already assembled.  So it should be plug and play theoretically anyways.  Will hit you up if I need a hand or 5.

HAHA After you do it a few times it starts to get easy if you have shocks springs and tophats and it is already assembled then that should take no more than an hour or so

You'll need an Hondata or AEM/FIC as far as I know. I'm pretty sure our rev-limiter is set electronically [ECU]. However that is something I gotta look into.

As far as for the shifter assembly goes. If we cut the shift lever about 2 inches we'll reduce your shift throw by apx 40% [I'll take measurements and do the math my next day off]. The lever doesn't need to be reathreaded if you get a shift knob that uses universal fittings with screws for fastening like one of these

So I purchased Meguiars clay bar kit yesterday and bar'd the hood and fenders (was getting dark so will finish entire car today). Man what a diff it makes!! yes you have to remove the plastic covers and then peel the stuff tape stuff off

I bought a replacement pillar from Honda for like $40 bucks, it looks 10x better. Going to get the passanger side soon, they fade pretty bad. I just can't stand the idea of peeling or scrapping something off my car lol

Sun we'll wipe down the cars and go to the Meet.

The hood is salvagable it just has two chips on the corners, gives it some charachter haha. It's definetly comin off seein how I still have my stock hood to throw on.

hood will fit. TL sway bar, the problem was that there was nothin but leafs on the road from the storms, rain, and tornados. Which left me with no traction. If it was dry out I could've recovered but leafs and wet pavement made it impossible. The only thing I could control is at what angle i'll slide, and even that was fucking hard as balls

Yes, but the impact didnt have enough power.

did the impact have adjustable torque settings?

Yes, and I maxed it out.  However, I do not know what the torque spec is on the gun.  I suspect it is not rated high enough for 160 ft/lbs.

Ill check the torque specs on mine before i leave today and see hat it is if not me or a friend has something that will brake it loose

Ok so it's 6:37 and im sitting here at work. I put the front lip on wife's (amanda) car. And I washed it in the dark at 8:30 last night! I drove her car to work since shes out of town and damn it looks good again. I forgot how much of a difference that lip makes. Too bad the coupe lip on H&A costs my right nutt.
