I've found that my company is generally pretty good about that. I've taken vacation days on business trips, and they have still picked up the tab!

Yeah. At this point. I don't care if I have to take a vacation day if it means I get the job. No matter what, I'm going to be in Nashville on August 11th.

It's all good Mike. The day turned out okay. I'm hoping that we'll be able to hang out later on when I move out there for the new job.

Not yet. I sent out my "thank you" emails to the guys that interviewed me on Friday (because I didn't come in to work the next day), and they both replied back saying they'll let me know soon. I'm guessing it's going to be at least another week or two based on how things work around here.

Well, I got an email from the woman in staffing to drop by her office. When I talked to her she said that the interview went very well and then she asked me if I would be willing to consider Baltimore and Atlanta. I'm assuming that they are seriously considering me for one of the positions since they were asking me if I'd consider another area. I hope to get Nashville, but Atlanta is 2nd, and Baltimore is 3rd. I'm just hoping I get one of them.

I'll be coming up to Bham (Leeds), AL on Oct 8-10th to go to the 7th Annual Vintage Festival @ Barbers Park. I went back in 2003 for the first one and 2007 for the 3rd one and both were mind numbing. If your into vintage bikes you gotta check it out. It's old school where you sit on the hill and watch the races. I remember sitting under a tree while behind me was a road to the pits, all kinds of bikes passed me, I still remember that smell of the exhaust…see you guys there
