I wanna do a tranny swap!! I want a 6spd...
I just don't know if I can count on reliability for this since I don't kno any 7 gens that had this done from being an automatic.
do u guys know what parts will I need to make it work and the est cost for them??
Paul can u tell me how much labor would cost me for a tranny swap to be done?

m62 from the cobalt. should I just go ahead and build the engine to handle the boost or do you think ill be fine for now. I only wanna push 8 lbs or so
It really depends, I would at least want to do a though check of your engine before putting boost on it, the nice thing with doing the buildup first is getting KPro in and functioning before boost.

so do u usually use tl trannies for the swap?
So how much is the estimated cost for parts?
And how much for labor?
what parts are needed to make it work?

The average when all is said and done is around $4500, I use the TL trannys when I can get them at a decent price because they have LSD.

This may be a dick thing to say, but it's hard to get into trouble when you don't break the law. It took me a very long time to realize that, but it's a valuable lesson.

effective july 1st, fines for speeding are going through the roof. in addition to the normal fine you also have an annual fine of a minimum of 300 dollars per year for three years and the ticket stays on your record for ten years.

So it's $900 plus the ticket? Do they crush your car like they do in Canada if you're going 30 over the speed limit?
