They are swappable but the maps installed won't make a difference if you don't have the disc to go along with it. Like Billy said, make sure you get the code for the new HU.

I'm going to be picking up a Nav unit from someone, it was bought from junkyard but he never installed in his car. I'm just wondering where I'd get the codes from? Also, I'm guessing there are plenty of aftermarket harnesses for this swap available on egay or something?

Your Honda dealer should be able to get you the code from the serial # on the NAVi. Some may not want to do it though.
You can do a quick search on here for info regarding the disk. I remember a thread where this was discussed....maybe in this very thread.

I think this is the right thread, any of you guys get an email from Honda Navigation with an exclusive deal for a 99 dollar upgrade disk? There's a promo code that doesn't work, and the buy now button doesn't work either. Think it's bogus?

I paid $90 shipped for my 2013 disc - eBay seller frankieauctions - awesome guy, great communication. Some people have won the bid as low as in the $50-60 range - but there were many people bidding on it when I was so it went up to $90 (still a steal from the $149.99 MSRP though)
