Tools:
-1/4" Ratchet
-#8 X 1/4" Socket
-#10 X 1/4" Socket
-6" X 1/4" Socket Extension
-Engine Air Filter
-Flat-Head Screwdriver with small head/tip
-Flat-Head Screwdriver with medium or large head/tip
-Knife or Box Cutter

First - There are two "Breather" hoses that run from the intake piping to a mounting plate

The hose on the bottom is attached with a hose clamp (RED Arrow). It is flexible enought to where you dont need any kind of pliers or vice-grips to remove it. While you have it compressed/pushed together push it as close to the intake piping as possible. This way you dont loose it when you go to the next step. Then pry the mounting plate away from hoses. It's not to hard to do . I suggest prying a little at the top and then the bottom,so on and so on until you have this...

Second- Unplug the MAF sensor,it is in the grey "Hi-lighted" box in the pic. Do not remove the sensor, just unplug it.

Third- There are 2 ways to do this. You can either cut the "Zip Tie" mount for the MAF sensor or "Un-Zip" the Zip-Tie.It's just to the left of the hi-lighted box in the first pic. To Unzip - Take the tip of the Small tip flathead srewdriver and pry it between the hasp (RED Arrow) and the strap (YELLOW Arrow). While pushing the hasp away from the strap, push the strap back through the hole with the other flathead screwdriver or your finger or anything
IF YOU CUT THE ZIP TIE MAKE SURE YOU CUT AWAY FROM THE WIRING.

Fourth- Loosen all 4 bolts on the Intake Filter
Housing with the #8 Socket and Extension.Loosen them until they unthread completely. They will not come out all the way so you dont have to worry about losing them. Sweet hu?

I know, a 6" Extension is somewhat unneccesary for the 3 bolts in the pic above but don't forget about the 4th one..

Fifth- Remove the bolt on the left with the #10 Socket and unbolt the one on the right until it stops unthreading. The bolt on the left (Fuse Box) can be taken out and put in a safe place to make sure you dont loose it. The bolt on the right (Intake Pipng Mount) will not fall out so you can just unbolt it until it unthreads completely, it's not going anywhere.

The above step might not BE neccessary but it helps with the next step.
Sixth- Pull the filter box out of the engine bay by pulling up and pushing it to your left(torward the engine) at the same time. The intake piping is just flexible enough to allow you to do this.
Once it looks like this..

Simply take out the old filter and replace it with the new one. It will only go in one way.
Reverse everything you just did to get where youre at ,and youre set. I dont have torque specs on the bolts but the filter box bolts should only be hand tight. The fuse box bolt and intake mount bolt I would say 15-18 lbs of torque should be plenty. Hope this helps.
