How often do you guys go to the gym? and for how long? and how long do you guys do weights?
right now im at 3-4 days a week, cardio for 30, weights for 15 mostly cause if I park longer than an hour i gotta start to pay.

When I am good(which I need to get back to) I usually do ten minutes warm up(stretches, and cardio) the work out about 30 minutes followed by another ten minutes or so cool down

So Im starting the "p90" today, not the p90x, p90 is for fat people i guess, but thought Id give it a go. heard great things if you stick with it, which should be a problem because my girl will yell at me that I bought this and am not using it.

I'm starting the kris gethin 12 week program today. Day 1 is legs. Any one interested in toning and cutting fat should look into this free program.

Update: had a killer leg workout. Did 3 warm up sets of leg press of 15 reps of 260. Then 2 sets. One 15 one 12 to failure with 300 and one set of 12 to failure of 320. Kinda proud of that Smiley. Was all in all a great work out. Had to fight with my clutch the whole way home haha

I've started jogging lately.  I'm slowly getting into it, so I don't want to go overboard and end up hurting or killing myself.  I'm just working on building up my stamina.  Basically, I go out for about a half hour for at least 3 days a week.  The first week I walk fast for 6 minutes, then run for 1 minute.  The second week I walk for 5 minutes, then run for 2 minutes.  You guys get the picture of where this is going.  It's week two for me right now.  I've been trying to do this at least 5-6 times a week instead of the bare minimum of 3 times a week.

Oh ok. Well in a few earlier posts I talked about a program called couch to 5k. It is similar to what you were talking about with warm up then intervals. They have an app for iPhone. It works really well with the times announces when to walk and jog. It will even play your iTunes within the software

^That looks like a pretty cool app. I'll have to check it out.

Has anyone done Insanity? I just started it last week with a buddy of mine. It is pretty intense but it seems to be working. My goal isn't really to lose a ton of weight (although it would be a plus) but to just be healthier and get into better shape.

I've tried Insanity for one workout only (I work A LOT and spend my free time with family).  Very intense... I was hurting pretty bad for the next three (3) days, at least.... It'll definitely work if you stay committed to it.  Seen very successful results first hand in family members who are doing it now.  You'll definitely be in shape, with muscle toning, increased overall endurance and weight/fat loss as bi-products.
