I can't even describe how bad coconut water tastes. However, Almond Joy's are where it's fucking at.
I'm also going to try to switch from two cups of coffee in the morning to some protein powder mixed with almond milk. All the coffee does is make me crash in a few hours, and I hear protein helps make you more energized throughout the day anyways.

I say this with all seriousness, but what product DOESN"T get linked with causing cancer nowadays per some random study?
On another note, wanna talk about acquired tastes? I can't stand coconut water... tried every brand, and flavored ones... shit's just nasty.
Cigarettes, they've been proven to not cause breast cancer!
Y'all can keep your coconut water, I loathe coconut. Jeff, coffee isn't that bad for you, the sugar you put in it is bad for you. Be a man, drink it black. Also, a good multivitamin provides energy through the b vitamins.

I ordered a new book from amazon today. It's called fit2fat2fit. A trainer stops being healthy and exercising for 6 months and gains 75 pounds to spend the next 6 months losing the weight to better understand the perils of weight loss.

I certainly will. I read the first few pages on amazon and it seems like it's gonna be a great fitness book

I want some fatty food and my wife won't let me eat it. Yesterday I was going to order pizza and wings while I watched the AFC game and she was all like "I'll make you a salad instead with grilled chicken."
So on top of giving up beer now she has me eating rabbit food too. If she pulls that shit again, I say that's grounds for a divorce!
Rant done.

Some "rabbit food" is pretty good, but even I had a pizza yesterday for the game. Tell her you'll try to eat healthy most of the time, but not during sporting events... lol

Can't wait for spring to get here so I can start bike riding again.

I went to a game dinner yesterday and ruined my diet. I must have had 8 pounds of meat and a dozen coke and jack.. Must exercise.

I did a two-a-day today. Went to a high school and ran stadiums then walked a lap of the track. Then I just got home from the gym. I've been fortunate enough to inspire a few of those around me. My mom has started weight watchers and has lost 5lbs so far. My good friend asked if he could join me at the gym the other night and told me he has gained 45 pounds and wants to lose that and tone up so he can be cut again for this summer since his dad bought a 28 foot boat. I think he is the one pushing me harder haha. I can push more weight than he can but after we go through a workout he has been pushing to do some suicides for conditioning.

It's so much easier when there's someone pushing you. This girl and I used to run the track at the high school after work, but we lost touch. Must make you feel so good to have inspired people to follow you
It's not easy, proud of you!
I have been eating a lot of fruit, and although I don't feel like I've lost weight, I do feel like I have more energy. The pizza the other night was a setback, but I did have breakfast and then walked around in Boston all day, so I think it was a wash. I bought grapefruit, grapes, oranges, bananas, some organic salads, unsalted raw walnuts, unsalted raw almonds, baby carrots, and some mixed nuts. Hitting the gym tomorrow.

It does feel goo to have inspired others. friends and family have helped push me to get to where I am and they will continue to push me for the next 2.5 months until I graduate the academy. So, its nice that I have impacted them in some way. I bought mom some BSN Lean Dessert protein powder to use in place of having sweets in the house.
Be cautious with fruit. While it is good for you, too much is bad. It is argued that you cant over eat fruit, but it is high in sugar. and sugar turns to fat.

Yes I try to be aware of that.. I'll do oranges and bananas one day, and switch it up the next..I drink V8's (low sodium) and usually eat rice, fish, quinoa, and hard boiled eggs too..
