All right, screw this crappy holiday food. I've had headaches, exhaustion, indigestion, etc etc..back to the gym! Do any of you guys know a good way of cleansing? I've done fasting for a day and drinking juices, but is there a better way? I don't want to shock my system too badly...

Fruit is naturally high in sugar, but it's ok as long as it's natural right? Should I eat certain fruits or all fruits?

Green tea extract supplements, and eat really clean. Like chicken, fish and almonds as proteins. Brown rice, rice cakes, veggies as good carbs. 4-6 ounces of fish or chicken and moderate portions of almonds. All the veggies you want and .5 to 1 cup of rice. Sweet potatoes are good too. They are low in natural sugars. Sugar in general is bad whether it is natural sugar. Try to avoid sugar as much as possible

I have changed my diet as of December to help get me ready for the mountain biking season. Come spring and summer I usually ride at least once a week on the trails for 1-2 hours and about 3-6 miles depending on what time I get to the trails. Hike at least once a week. Took my legs a long time before they stopped hurting the next day but my legs are solid now.

Last summer I was riding 3 days a week 3-5 miles and the gym 5 days a week before work.

GF got a year membership to there for xmas, hopefully it works out(pun intended). Its so hard to listen to her complain about how she looks, but not do anything about it, and not say anything. She CANNOT take criticism... especially when it comes to her weight. Which shes not that bad by any means, she just carries all her weight in her belly area. So she just needs to be a bit more active and lay off the midnight snacks.
