my whole family is military, mostly Army. Both Grandparents.
My adoptive dad is a LTC (artillery)
and my step dad is a MAJ (Mil Police)
I plan on going to a service academy and serving my country too. They both really appreciate the thanks they get.
And I'm well on my way to going to West Point/Air Force Academy. I have my letter of assurance for USMA, but still working on the USAFA one. very close.Wish me luck!. lol

Very nice Skip, being former Army I have always appriciated the sacrifice of those who serve and being formaly involved in the intel community there are many other heros we never hear about that have made the ultimate sacrifice. One of my favorite sayings that I think is often forgotten is "Freedom is not Free".

I hate how some people bad mouth them due to their position on the war. Thank you for serving! No one in my family took it up as a career, but both my grandfathers were drafted. One of my good friends left for the Air Force Academy, in Colorado, in July.

I guess he has money to burn.  I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs.  Fucking amateurs.   :Smiley
