I don't know the details, but I know it's possible.
What really grinds my gears is, Connecticut. Sorry Justin and Rich, but I hate driving through there.

Wanna trade Rolo? I hate it up here.

Actually, they can if you have an aftermarket alarm system. Mobile electronics shops have them for certain alarm manufacturers. An installer I know "borrowed" the computer to program another remote to his neighbors boyfriend's car to fuck with him for acting like a punk ass.
You sure that's not just cheap ass alarm systems? Most key fobs use a rolling random code that is a different signal every time.
Different signal or not, it still sends the signal out using infrared, which can easily be captured. Is it possible? Yes. Likely? No.
BOT. People who use turning signals AFTER they made their turn. Also, pickup trucks with scenery decals on their back windows.

x2 on drivers who don't use their turn signal!
You know what also grinds my gears? People who are in such a hurry that they must pass you on a double yellow in a 30mph zone going over 50mph. I hope that they have a meeting soon with one of their customers, mr. oncoming traffic.

Paulius, alarm remotes use RF, not IR to transmit the signal.
I hate it when people drive slow on the freeway, then speed up when you try and pass them, then slow down again when you stop trying to pass them.

LOL if your car remote worked on infared you'd have to point it directly at a sensor/receiver like your TV remote. mine doesn't work from across the room, let alone from across a parking lot.
here's the snopes article i read.
http://www.snopes.com/autos/techno/lockcode.asp
you'd probably have a better chance of someone writing your VIN number down and going to a dealership to get a duplicate key made.

Members of this site don't generally condone the negative stereotypes applied to people in law enforcement, There maybe some bad ones but, overall they are the people that serve, and protect us please show the proper respect.
maybe in your area but not around here..or probably im just the lucky one that they choose to fuck around for no reason

No, what he said was that we do not trash talk law enforcement here. There are a few members here who are police officers. One of them is a good friend of mine. We know there are good cops and bad cops, but that has to do with the individual, not the job title. You may have encountered lots of "bad cops" in "your area", but that doesn't give you the right to trash talk all police officers when there are a lot of them who do their best to uphold the law. Please keep your opinions about law enforcement out of your comments from now on.

Or even worse, people who stop their car in the middle of the road to talk to another car, so that both cars block the whole road. Drive home and call each other or something!!
