Honestly, I'm happy I reverted to stock (ish). I'll never go back to iPhone. The ui is too bland for me. At least with android, I can change launchers and widgets if I get bored.

It's a just a phone. I would be happy as hell if I could get all of the bloat ware off of my galaxy note 8 though. Between AT&T and Samsung they killed it.

Nelson, go into your apps and disable all the bloat. You don't need to be rooted for that. If you don't know what I mean, let me know.
Mike, launcher pro hasn't been updated in years. He's looking to remove that stuff. Not hide it.

Any launcher will take care of that. If he likes the stock launcher, I'm pretty sure there's a modified version of it in the play store that allows him to hide apps.

I would love to delete the apps entirely, not just hide them. It would free up some memory.

No can do unless rooted. Disable them and they will disappear from your launcher, they won't run but will still get updates when they are available and won't affect any future updates.

There's plenty of shit on icrap I can do without but it can't be hidden, disabled, uninstalled, etc. I can deal with disabling a few apps so that I never see them again in the first little bit I set up my phone after taking it out of the box.
