I'm thinking about installing a test build of 4.0.4 on my Droid X. Apparently there's an option to enable the onscreen keys for home and back and shit. It does seem redundant, but I think the back button on my phone is partially broken, because now I have to press it literally right in the middle of the button, otherwise it won't register.
I am eligible for an upgrade, so the Galaxy Nexus would be $200. That's still a bit much for me right now though... so I think I'll hold onto the upgrade for awhile and see what comes out next, or maybe get the Nexus when the price comes down.

Anyone with Android have problems with the Alarm Clock? The last two days ive almost been late for work because it didnt go off. When I woke up, I hit the button and the screen lights up with the alarm screen on like its going off (asking to snooze or disable) but nothings happening, no sound or vibration. I found about it happening on other Droids but no one seems to have a solution.

I used it last week while on travel and I didn't have any issues. What version of Android? and have you had any updates to your phone lately?

Neither have I. Then again, I don't use the stock alarm. I use alarm clock xtreme because I set it up to have me do math problems before it would snooze. Guarantees I wake up in the morning.

I could definitely use that. I'm downloading that one.

My old Motorola did that. It was weird, the alarm just stopped working for a week then it went back to normal. I just assumed it was because the Motorola Milestone was a piece of shit.

Go Nexus. Can't go wrong. Unless you get a GSII. Then you still can't go wrong. Samsung and HTC are where its at with regards to Android phones.

Unless it's a Samsung Fascinate.
When it first came out, the Android aficionados said it was the fucking balls. After owning it for a few months it magically turned into Samsung's worst mistake. What a surprise! The next greatest thing turned into an even greater failure.
What pisses me off is the Android fanboys that talk shit about the iPhone are just as blind as the iPhone fanboys. It's annoying when people will ignore the obvious flaws, yet argue that their shit is the best. Guess what, Android and iOS are both flawed. If you're a BlackBerry user, that ship is sinking fast.

The ship has sunk already for Blackberry. I have an iPhone 4s and I love it. I'm not an Apple fanboy though, I appreciate a working phone, no matter the company. Reason I've grown to dislike Motorla phones is because of how many of them mess up the same way exact way. I work with cellphones all day so that's why, at least I think, my opinion counts
