Plus one on silver wheels.  The exhaust looks good.  Lower it!  Wink

I have the same wheels and wanted to paint them black until I saw Z's wheels.  I like the silver myself.  Z butchered Arie's old wheels.

I just made them black just to see what it would look like. Will probably turn back to silver soon. On lowering. I know I can probably find this somewhere but I thought I might as well ask. Can you add lowering springs on stock struts and have everything be okay?

You can just use lowering springs, but the life of your shocks will be reduced.  It's also a good idea to get a camber kit in the rear if you don't want to replace tires often.

What did you get for your exhaust set up?  Where did you have it done?  Hopefully not Lou's.

I just got the magnaflow cat back that fits the v6 sedan. Got a pretty good deal on ebay and I just had it installed at a local mechanic that my dad and I often use and like. I really like it a lot. Thanks for the info on the suspension! I think that will most likely be my next upgrade.

Hey Guys I have a quick question. Thought I might as well ask it under my profile page to avoid clutter on other topics.. I've just bought new wheels and tires. 18x8 on 215/40/18s with an offset of 30. I really want to lower soon and am thinking of getting the Koni Super Cup kit. I've searched around and it looks like it's a pretty good combo. Anyone have any experience with it? Also, I asked on V6P but want to get a second opinion from this site. The wheels I bought don't fit as well as I would like them too. They protrude beyond the fender. I was told they would tuck in the fender once I lowered. Can anyone confirm this?

This was just a test fit and I grabbed the closest two tires to see how it looked. So the tread is backwards in the picture.

The supercup kit is a good deal for what you're paying for.  I've ridden in a few cars with them and I'd get them if I didn't already have coilovers.

As far as your wheels, they won't really "tuck" any more when you lower your car.  I'd be careful.  If you go too low, you're going to rub.  Get an adjustable camber kit for the front and you can get them to tuck when you go low.

Thanks for your advice, Tim. I may need to consider selling them and getting something else then. And Nit3h4wk, I'm from around Framingham but out to school in Amherst for most of the time. What about yourself?

They aren't going to tuck without some negative camber.
