Wow that was a biggun. We lost power for about 3 hours. Much better than when we lived in Hudson and lost power for days at a time....winter is a bastard! Haha

That storm missed us for the most part probably saw 6 to 8 inches of snow (feel like I have to qualify what i'm talking about with you fucks). Much like Tim I've been on the job hunt. I took a new position at the company I have worked for over the last 14 years and hate it but, because of who requested me for it another internal move is not wise.

I hear ya Mike. It's a tough job market out there. I get the feeling that companies are willing to nickel and dime employees and will settle for a less qualified and less experienced person so they can offer less money. I've been passed over for jobs and flat out ignored because I was too qualified. What the fuck is that shit?

The other thing I've noticed lately is a really open communication between companies about salary and other information. I've gotten a couple of offers but, they were literally the same compensation. Benefits, pay, everything down to the penny. That shit is impossible without some type of collusion. Had my annual "review" and it was very positive but, it really doesn't help overall.

Yeah. I was supposed to have a salary review 2 months ago, as part of my hiring agreement. I had to bring it up and my boss has been putting it off for the past month and a half. So far, they haven't held up their end of my hiring agreement. Nepotism is high in this company. Some people get away with murder, while others are micromanaged constantly. It seems like the people at the top are doing everything to make as much money as fast as they can, while the managers below them just don't give a shit any more.
One day I'm going to have a job that I don't hate and won't want to crack my boss in the head with a baseball bat.
