That is my biggest peeve about that FB group...there's a lot of members with different views on what looks good. It's always the same handful of people shit talking everyone. I've never seen Ariel once /not/ come off as a pompous asshole. I blocked him long ago, then find out for some stupid reason he got admin status. Explained why a few of my threads would always disappear, as well as comments.

Whatever, my car is a "riced out pos" because of mudflaps and a vanity plate, meanwhile he made his car look like every other stanced out Inspire swapped sedan. Oooooo what a great reason to be a cocky asshole for. >_>

That group sucks. Always asking the same questions 20 different time. The one reason I was on there was so I can could buy that turbo kit and unload a few things. Besides that people are retarded. They cut holes in their upper front tower mounts so they can go stupid low, and don't weld in reinforcement plates

Maybe if you had dropped it so that the rally armors were dragging on the ground   . People are idiots and I've learned that a long time ago. Just do you and fuck everyone else. Ratrods got the same response when they started. All the other car guys bashed them because they couldn't afford to mod cars the way the masses were and used scrap that was readily available. Today people are making new parts look like old scrap and charging a lot to do it.

But yeah, I'm not changing anything on my car because a bunch of whiny sceneboys don't like it. They say the same old crap over and over again. The most common one is "your car isn't a Subaru" or "you don't have AWD".

O'rly? You need to be a Subaru or have AWD to have a certain mudflap? Guess nobody told that to the Mazdaspeed3, Abarth 500, Focus ST, Fiesta ST and BRZ/FRS owners. lmao

Honestly, I'm glad I nuked my FB account a long time ago. Nothing but bullshit drama I didn't care to see. As for what the "scene fanboys" say/do, IDGAF. I do what I want. I'll still rock my fugly OG front end, meaty tire on OEM wheels, functional stance setup all day.

I don't post that much on there,  maybe the ocassional #fef post or the recent issue with my spoiler because it made me mad. But that one guy just wants to buy it from me. No. I just sit back and read lol. I'm on there for the occasional solution, idea, or parts for sale. Honestly I've been thinking about leaving some of the groups on FB due to all the recent car thefts in my area.

So glad I'm not on FB.  It's nothing but drama.  Every time someone says something about FB, it's always about some bullshit drama story about someone being an asshole or some sort of childish crap.  No thank you.  I'll leave that to the middle school girls.

Here's my last point about FB.  If it was so much better than a web forum like this, then why do people have to ask the same question over and over again?  Maybe it's because it's a disorganized stream of random shit where stuff gets buried easily. [/end rant]

I have nothing against show cars, but the stance thing is really bad.  A little bit of camber and proper fitting tires are fine, but taking it to the extreme where guys do dumb shit just to say they fit an 11" wide wheel on their car is just plain stupid.  I get the sense that a lot of these cars are just slapped together, without any actual thought or proper fabrication.  There seems to be a cookie cutter mold that everyone likes to follow.

All the track guys I know hate stanced cars.  All the show car guys I know have really clean builds that are amazing, but not over the top with flashy gimmicks. I try to be the guy that's in between fashion and function.  I don't want my car to stand out, because I like the sleeper look.  I want people to think that it's a stock Accord with wheels and at first glance, not be able to notice the changes that I've made aesthetically.  I like the engine stuff too, and my engine bay is about being functional and making power.  I'm trying to make my statement with my engine bay.  Not by being clean and tucked, but by being insane and making more power than you would expect from a supercharged 4 cylinder sedan.
