Not moving yet. Had a 3rd interview on Wednesday at their HQ and it went well. They're only interviewing 2 people for the job, so it's a 50/50 shot for me. I'm back down in TX this week for vacation. Hopefully I get the call with a job offer this week so I can switch from vacation mode to house hunting mode.

Driving around getting groceries and cat food today.  I got to drive Rob's Turbo Veloster home last night, it was pretty fun!

Thanks Ken. I'm not going to be leaving Ohio until May. That's when our lease is up and I'm pretty sure the new job will be cool with me staying in Ohio until then.

I've been busy as all hell... Glad to hear some potentially good news for you Tim. I finally got a replacement for my boss after about 9 months, and I couldn't be happier with the selection. Its someone I have worked with in the past that knows my track record. So we will see how this all pans out over the next couple of months. Still looking at outside jobs just in case.

After slaving away at the same job for 8 years, I finally got some recognition on Friday (and more importantly a nice bump up in pay).  They must have been monitoring my internet activities and saw all the job search sites I've been browsing lately lol.

Glad to hear the good news Ike. I don't know those feels.

The job is the national training manager for an audio company. They're fairly small, but sell high end audio and have had a lot of growth. This job is literally perfect for me because it's a better job opportunity, more room for career growth and I would be located in Texas.

I wish I could. My last employer liked to think of themselves as a "world class audio company". After spending a decade of my life working for them, I would say that is not an accurate self assessment.
