Well I gave the blue Explorer to my dad and picked up this single-owner mint 2000 Mercury Mountaineer V8 RWD with LSD rear differential.

factory feature: 5.0L 210hp V8
looks like factory embarrassment to me. 240 lbs/ft. that accord on driveway has same numbers swapped and has 2L less displacement. obviously ford got something wrong

why did you get that? fuel economy sucks, maybe 4x4 but you dont have winter snow to use it.

please dont do HID kit, it gona blind other drivers

Always owned these 3rd gen Expys. Love their dependability. Mine does about 20 MPG and good enough for me. If I want Fuel Economy and speed I just drive the Hawk. Easy

its a 2000 mercury. in those days it would have been alright to have that Hp out os a V8. 4 years later inovation in technology lets us make that same hp with 4 cylinders less

^not to mention that the mountaineer produced good torque. not quite sure on the numbers but that suv would beat most of the 4 bangers on this site off the line.

That's my next mod. I was thinking one RF T2 15" and a T1000 Monoblock amp along with a 4-way amp for the doors. What can you recommend?
