it is unsafe tim. But here in socal everyone runs these trendy set-up but so far no has had any problems and the highways/roads are horrid, with potholes and uneven pavement. Im stump as to how anyone drives here even with meaty tires. So the "hellaflush" set up is out of the question haha
Apparently everyone who installed their inspire fogs to either a 7 or 7.5 gen did it just fine.
for some reason my fogs does not sit flush in my 06 bumper and on the driver side, my inspire fogs housings is touching my sub frame so it wont allow me to attach my bumper.
what should i do?
And there is that slight gap that doesnt sit as flush as anyone else.
The back of the housign is touching that sub frame right there
ya, Tim i have to trim the back of my original oem fog holes because the bumper wasnt design to allow the inspire to sit directly in. So i am trimming it but i need to make a bracket to hold it.
i cant find any DIY. so Rolo, k24lowz20 and others with inspire fogs please chime in. how would i go about making brackets, trimming the bumper and such?
Thanks guys! i know my car looks pretty awkward right now with those wheels. its an alright conservative look but im selling these to get some work meisters hopefully.
Yes ill be color matching my doorhandles and side skirts but ill fix a few more things first.
