Took my 2014 S5 out to Mount Tamalpais spontaneously on Tuesday. I drove towards West Peak off Pantoll Rd and got to some pretty empty roads.

Check my build thread for more.

Photos photographed with a Sony RX1-R and Nikon D800e. Photos mildly processed on Lightroom 5. More iPhone shots on my instagram.

Congrats Art!  When do you take delivery of the RS5?

Decided against the RS5 and got a manual S5 instead. The saved cash immediately went into mods. Just took delivery last week, and I've already gotten a full xpel wrap, 3m crystalline tint, rear carbon fiber valence, milltek exhaust, roc-euro intake, bilstein ride control coilovers, control arms, short shifter, led interior lights, and the list goes on. I think I've officially spent more than just getting an RS5, but it was more fun and with a very easy tune it will be way faster Wink

Took delivery at 10 miles on the car, now at 82 miles with a dozen or more mods.

A few photos from when I was installing the intake:

I was going to get a full carbon fiber box setup, but this one performs the best and allows for the sweetest supercharger sound.

Here's some photos of the interior (before the short shifter install, which I went 30% throw reduction and 50% height reduction):

I feel like the middle of the steering wheel is really plump, makes me chuckle:

Start button is sexy:

I have a buyer who's flying down from Seattle to pick up the car on Saturday.  Cry

He's a V6p.net guy, I'll get him on this forum asap though.

Quick photos from just now. More later once the sun isn't so harsh. It doesn't get much cleaner than this for a Gen7:

Bubbling in rear 3M tint:

Clean undamaged rims, good tire tred:

Clean front (license plate bracket and plate not on yet after the bumper work:

I know I don't have those powers Art. Sorry to see the Accord go and that I couldn't help.

Thanks man! Definitely going to be a sad day to see it go.

Who can give me access to posting in the for sale forum? I'm not a spammer and I'm sure there are plenty who can vouch for me. I'd like to see these things get to a good home!

Germans are taking their time with the car. The CM81 is in the shop right now getting all the tiny rock chips patched up and detailed.

Plans:
1. Get all little paint chips fixed
2. Oil Change
3. Major detailing work
4. Craigslist

If you guys want a strong 2003 v6 6spd, let me know. Would love to see this car stay in the family.

The new 2014 S5 is being built now in Germany, so I have a few months before the accord is going to get sold.

It would be a dream come true to have a member of this forum purchase the car. It's in great condition, comes with a few brand new extras, and just has too much great mojo to go off to a soccer mom.

In the meantime, I'm thinking of putting together one last photoshoot with it. Putting together a camera rig and going to do a shoot over a course of two days. So... photos soon Wink

I've got to take a look at some stuff first before I can consider another car. I'm in the middle of another motor build right now. That's $7k that could be going into the Accord I already have. Smiley

Totally understand. But that's $7K for an entire accord in sweet condition Wink Plus, what a fun trip to SF that would be right?

Anyway, I'm getting my next ride with Cartelligent probably, and the service includes them selling my accord as well if I want. May happen soon, but I'll ping you again before it's sold with them. I'd much rather see this girl in your hands.

I'm half serious.  I'd definitely consider picking it up though.

I'm all the way serious about that. When are you coming over? Let's get some NorCal CM's together with your new ride.
