Isn't it typical Giants style to start the season looking like shit then make a push at the end?

I think the Giants are having the same offensive issues the Ravens are.  Terrible line play and a nonexistent run game.  The major difference is our defense is playing well enough to keep games close. 

The Raven's boards are going crazy wanting us to trade for Hakeem Nicks, but with his injury history, I'm not so sure that is a wise move.

I actually think he's hurt,  they're just not saying anything. I think it's more typical that they come out guns blazing at the beginning, then cool off mid season, then ramp up their engines again towards the end.

I don't remember Dilfer winning Superbowl MVP, having the best postseason run of all time, OR getting a 120 mil contract.  He was cut weeks after winning the Superbowl...

And I would call winning at least one playoff game every single year hes been in the league better than just one good year.  He has more playoff wins than any QB in the history of the NFL in his first 5 years in the league.

Sigh.... let me explain it to you.

Last year our defense was ranked the worse it has ever been since our last Superbowl win in 2000.  We lost a bunch of great yet old and past-their-prime vets.  They were replaced with younger talent with higher ceilings.  

Wanna see what happens when a team keeps old and expensive vets who are past their prime?  Then check out the Steelers this year.

Flacco is struggling because his #1 WR (traded), #3 WR (hurt), #1 TE (hurt), and old starting Center (retired) are gone.  Top that off with a lazy LT (have fun on the bench you fat fuck), a replacement center (who has looked like shit so far) and that all combines to create bad line play.  Bad line play = no run game and no time to throw.

We are so desperate for a receiving TE, the forums are all awash with people wanting that scrub TE the Pats just dropped.  No thanks!
