Steaming at my desk...they want me to work in shipping...add that to the 3 or 4 jobs i already have here..probably with no raise.  Is it my resume? Do i smell funny? Someone hire me!

I remember helping you review your resume, but I don't remember if you had a cover letter.  Granted, cover letters should be tailored to the specific position, but having a general template that you apply slight tweaks to, works wonders.  How confident are you with your interview skills?  I recall you mentioning you had an interview a while back; how do you feel that went?  Anything you would have changed?

I do make a cover letter for each job i apply for. I keep it short and to the point. I thought my interview went really well. It was with an employment agency. We ended up talking about wine at Trader Joes and laughing. I emailed her once a week for reminder/status updates..she said she didn't have anything...i'm thinking...what about that job she said i'd be perfect for? Sad

As helpful as agencies can be, it's also tough to get a job through them.  Employers have a tendency to hire people directly, instead of through an agency; unless the candidate is truly that much better that the cost of paying commission towards the third-party agency is worth it.
