first day in AutoCad class...

AutoCAD class??  What cha studying for?

I am currently aiming for an AA for Drafting Engineering, but my goal is to get a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Just got back from smogging my car.

Steaming at my desk...they want me to work in shipping...add that to the 3 or 4 jobs i already have here..probably with no raise.  Is it my resume? Do i smell funny? Someone hire me!

I remember helping you review your resume, but I don't remember if you had a cover letter.  Granted, cover letters should be tailored to the specific position, but having a general template that you apply slight tweaks to, works wonders.  How confident are you with your interview skills?  I recall you mentioning you had an interview a while back; how do you feel that went?  Anything you would have changed?

As helpful as agencies can be, it's also tough to get a job through them.  Employers have a tendency to hire people directly, instead of through an agency; unless the candidate is truly that much better that the cost of paying commission towards the third-party agency is worth it.
