flexpipe rattle: looking for options

i've had this annoying rattle that's happening between 1800-2000 rpms. after trying relentlessly to figure it out i've finally found its coming from the flexpipe (axle pipe/j-pipe/seemslikeithasalotofnames pipe).
the stainless mesh around it looks pretty well scraped and the whole thing is quite rusted out. gotta be something loosened up in it causing this rattle. when my car was on a lift last week banging onto it replicated the sound exactly.
right now im looking into a new one is $400+ and since its not a danger as is, just an annoying rattle, im looking into other options. is there an alternative that anyone recommends checking out? if anyone has an OEM one laying around let me know and we can make a deal.
this is on a 03 v6 coupe with a borla cat back. here's the part in question:

i did and they're the ones quoting me an arm and a leg for the part. i figured if im going to drop the coin, i may as well get something that will also give me a performance gain.

You can order a j pipe from Paul. I've seen his and they're muy bueno.

order an aftermarket one. No point in spending 400 bucks for stock part unless your going to sell it. Check acurazine. I saw a j-pipe for 250 shipped. ATLP v1 i believe.
