Are you setting a bad example for your kids by driving a foreign car?
...On the side, is anyone here old enough to remember the original commercial?

How old do you think some of us are? I guess I can't be a bad parent because I don't have kids or plan on having kids.

Hahaha. Quite true. At least I'm not a bad parent. It's kinda funny when you experience people's perspective in different areas of the country. Out here in MA, imports don't have a bad rap because we don't buy American made cars (even though the Honda Accord was the first Japanese car to be manufactured in the US). Where I grew up, in MI, they are very pro-domestic because a lot of jobs are dependent on that. Some people get really offended when you don't drive an American car. My opinion is that the big 3 have done a lot to ruin their reputation and the UAW has helped contribute to their failure. Why would I buy a domestic car and let myself get ripped off, when I can buy a Japanese car that will be engineered better, more reliable, have a higher resale value, and is also built in the US. I'm not going to be guilted into buying a piece of shit car that will fall apart in 3 years, when I can buy something better from a company that also provides jobs in the US.

Haha P! Viejo! Well I guess I'm a bad parent and so are my parents and everyone else in my family. Don't buy American branded vehicles! I had 4 fall apart on me. None of my imports ever died. They are all still running strong today. Trust me. I check with the current owners on the status of my old rides.

Nope, beating your kids is a sign of good parenting.

Lulz, I frekain love you Tim. Most kids need to get smacked around a few times in their life, but parents don't do it, and you wonder why our country is going south. Everyone wants to make their kids feel good, shelter them, etc., this sets them up for failure later, I think....
