The Harness is $400 for 05-07 AV6 and $420 for 03-04 AV6 and 04-05 TL (Have to also add a connector for the second ECT sensor that the 07 TLS and 7.5gen uses for cooling fan control. From there you just need a 07-08 TL ECU for MT guys. AT guys get screwed again, sorry, the 07-08 TL AT has a very different Hydralic system and control on it and is not compatible with the older AT. Although I do have one build in process where I am using a 07 MDX J37A1 and matting it with a 08 TL AT into a 04 AV6.

hopefully the AV6 will gain more power then the TL since our base maps are based on 87. So can't wait to see what the car would be like using a 91 mapping Smiley

This could be a long  story, but I'll summarize. I recently got flashpro installed with a base TL auto ECU. I had some issues with the unit not seeing the ecu and because of schedules I had to, surprisingly, drive for almost a week with the new ECU. This meant CELs out the ass and white knuckles when I go to shift to 6th gear. After contacting Hondata they made some suggestions on things to try like connectinfg the unit to the RDX and see if it sees the ECU, yes. Then rechecking the wiring. It turned out to be the 2 pins on the CAN wire adapter which goes into the OBDII connector. These pins don't always fit correctly and tends to get pushed up into the connector thus not making contact with the flashpro connector. Ken had to super glue his in.

Pins are in the 3rd row down. Notice how they look compare to the OEM ones

I figured this was the best place to start being that if the ECU adapter has issues, Paul could not reprogram the key, connect a scan tool or run the car. Also Paul soldered the other end of the CAN adapter wires instead of taking the dash apart and messing with more connectors that can add more variables to debug.

So I got this programmed last Thursday night using the base 03-07 accord V6 MT calibration that Hondata provided. After my normal driving Thursday night and to and from work Friday I beleive the ECU has finished learning. The only CEL on now is P0489 which is related to the EGR valve (EDIT: ACTUALLY THIS CODE IS RELATED TO THE EVAP SYSTEM). When I had the code on my stock setup the car wouldn't idle and now it has no ill effect on the car. I still need to check emissions readiness now that the ECU has finished learning. If not, I have to look into what checks that can be turned off in the calibration and reload it (EDIT: DID SOME MORE DIGGING/READING INSTRUCTIONS COVER TO COVER, AND FOUND THAT THIS AS WELL AS A FEW OTHER CHECKS SHOULD BE TURNED OFF WHEN USING IN THE 04-06TL/03-07 ACCORD V6 MT).

Now for what I've noticed:
Performance= definite increase and consistent from about 1500rpm up
Idle= smooth (748-752rpm) (with SRI and IM spacer it would vary 700-800rpm)
Launge rpm= 5000rpm (*saw in the calibration not tested)
Redline=7000rpm (*saw in the calibration not tested)
VTEC= smooth engagement, no dip just before
Driveability= A HUGE IMPROVEMENT overall. For me, it takes a little getting used to because Hondata's calibration takes care of rev matching for you when shifting. I don't always want this. I have control issues, I know lol

NO MORE CELs

I still need to desolder the IC and add the 3mm wire onto the ecu

here my ugly ass Desoldering and soldering of the bridge. Ill fix it tomorrow. The wiring was too thick. Will probably cut a paper clip and use that instead of 16 gauge wiring. thats all I had laying around.

Not sure where this should go because it's not Flashpro specific, but more Hondata in general. The latest news on their website is a warning against buying Hondata products on ebay. They are counterfeit products showing up. You can read the full articles on their website.

flashpro is awesome! The car drives so much better. It really complements all the bolt on and the PnP heads with camshaft

here is where I am at so far
