Smoking the Tail lights

What's up guys? I'm pretty new to doing mods to vehicles but I think the first thing that I want to do to my Black accord is smoke out the Tail Lights. Now I know that there's two options, I either use the spray, or I get the film. I was just wondering which is the better option in both looks and longevity. Plus I'm new to it all so hopefully it won't be that difficult either.

P.S. What other mods would you recommend?

Just don't. Its illegal in damn near every state and if a cop wants to be a dick, you'll get hit for it because it impairs other drivers seeing your lights when driving at night and when braking.

^^ Ditto, but if you do it anyway, go with the film.  That way you can remove it easily when you get a ticket.

I would do it with film also because it's reversible, like Ike said.

The paint is reversible but its a metric fuckton more work than the film. Don't ask me how I know that.
