what's your XBOX live gamertag and what games do you play?

Played some minecraft yesterday with a couple of the guys on here it was pretty fun...My underwater house turned into a strip mine though lol but it was deff a good laugh.

Can one of you take the time to explain this game to me. I looked at the demo but not sure I like it. Seems a lot of people love it so what's the deal?

It's alot of fun to play with a group of friends and see what you can build. You can say screw building and go mining and exploring for dungeons or build a portal and battle in hell (the nether) We played for a couple hours and had a couple farms and a small community going. Plus the random creeper explosions always keep things lively. You have to play with friends to get the full experience plus they will be constantly updating so you can play adventure maps, puzzle maps and even use mods like tekkit (think full blown oils drilling, fuel refineries, automated quarries/farms to full blown nuclear reactors.)

Ive gotten addicted to the Gun Play on MW3 (One in the chamber, 18 gun and all or nothing). I cant stop playin, im levelin up like crazy. Lol

Anybody have any experience with networking ?

Im having a problem connectecting both of my xbox360s to the same modem.
Xbox(1) = wired
xbox(2) = wireless

Right now I have it set up like this.
Modem > switch > xbox(1)
Switch > router (xbox(2))

And I notice that everytime I reset everything one of the connections work. So if the wired is working the router isn't working and vice versa.

I think the router should be where the switch is, and vice versa. Without knowing exactly what devices you're using, it's hard to tell. But generally you want the router hooked to the modem, then have the switch hooked to the router.

It worked like that too but I didn't wanna keep it dint there because the router would be too far from the rest of the house.

You might want to forward/open some ports on your router to enhance the connection to xbox live.

Started playing this minecraft it's pretty interesting. Is there an end point when you start "a new world".

Not yet, they started coding the xbox version from approximately version 1.6.6 on the PC. So a lot of features aren't implemented yet. Such as Pistons, various blocks, enemies, strongholds (randomly generated enemy castle which holds the portal to the end where you fight the dragon) and testificates (Friendly NPCs with randomly spawning villages) they will slowly patch up to current versions and slowly implement mod and adventure map compatibility. So right now the only objective is to build and have fun.

You can build some pretty amazing things. Like one guy built a fully functional computer complete with memory and RAM out of redstone it could do calculations and even save images/patterns on a screen he made. (YouTube redstone computer *mindboom*)
