So here it is, I believe there isn't a DIY for this here.

The i4 is a Group 51R and the v6 is Group 35

There is the stock battery with it's tray.

Here is the v6 ground cable compared to the i4
The part number is 32600-SDB-A00

Replace the stock ground with the v6 one, it uses the same bolt. You can now remove the stock battery and replace with the new one. (I am funny, aint I)

This is the i4 vs the v6 in comparison of size.

From that point you have to choices:

You can either buy the tray and holders for the v6
No 2 : 31512-SDB-A01
No 3 : 31513-SP0-010 (x2)
No 4 : 31521-SDB-A00
No 5 : 31531-SDB-A00

Or you can remove the stock tray and don't use any (the way I did it)
I put some tool box mat leftovers to prevent the battery to slip or get damaged on the metal plate.

Then place the battery in the car and place the stock brace (or the v6 one) to hold it in place
(note: in order to make the i4 brace hold the larger battery, unfold the tab that used to hold the smaller battery in place. The rods are barely long enough but they are so you can use them)

Now charge the new battery before using it ( can be done before the upgrade, saves you time )

Re-install the therminals, don't over-thight them, they will just be harder to remove

You got your upgrade done, now enjoy the added starting power.
(if this doesn't help, then you need a new starter)

Good stuff. I'd like to get that beefier ground cable, but I don't think it will actually help unless I also beef up the cable to the alternator.

I need to throw on some rubber mats too. I was in a pinch so I just tossed it right onto the metal tray.

I am feeling the same way about the effect of the ground cable without making the alternator one bigger. The sure thing is that it can't be a bad thing of having a bigger ground cable.

The mat is a short (or maybe long) term solution until I find a v6 tray at the junk yard.
