thanks, I am going to put them up on acurazine when i get home... what do you guys think a fair price would be for them?
If i got a set of TL wheels would the 245/45/17 still be an ok tire size? it is really meaty but is the sidewall too big?
For the TL-S I would expect to pay about $500-$600 for just the rims. I saw a set today sell for $750 with tires. After just having a BAD experience with buying used tires....I would strongly recommend against buying used tires....too many funny things happen from nails to differences in tread wear.
235/45 or 245/45 would be fine. 245's will have slightly bigger side wall but is same overall wheel diameter as stock. 235's throw you off by a tiny bit...speedometer is about 1mph slow.

You know, I've actually noticed that with my 235/35/18's my speedometer is PERFECT.
There's this street I ride on almost everyday and it has a screen that says how fast you're going and when I'm exactly at 40MPH on my speedo the little screen says exactly that!

I have 245/45/17's on my TL wheels. As far as the speedo issue, that's long gone now.

I reckon i will keep the tires i just bought since htey have less than 100 miles on them. What is a fair asking price for the gram lights? I got a sweet deal on them from a friend. I will be completely honest, I do not know what a used set of gram lights is worth

i've been trying to find me some awesome deal on tl-s wheels, but no luck. anyways your car will look a lot better w/ the tls wheel, and as far as pricing your gramlights, as long they are in good condition, do research and look how much your wheels are going for, then figure it out from that.

I guess he has money to burn. I'd rather waste my money on parts that actually make my car faster, hookers, and drugs. Fucking amateurs. :

Stock Accord Size: 215/50/17 = 25.5"
TL Size: 235/45/17 = 24.4"
Uber TL Size: 245/45/17 = 25.6"
Basically you rev a little less with the 245 size but your acceleration suffers by a very small margin. With the 235 you get marginally better acceleration but marginally more revs per mile. It's really a call about your personal driving preferences.
My new 19s are 235/35/19 at 25.5" exactly like stock

205/60/16 =
25.68
overall diameter
235/45/17 = 25.32 overall diameter
245/45/17 =
25.68
overall diameter
With the 235 your speedometer will be technically 1.4% off....or at 60mph on your speedometer is actually 60.8mhp nothing to lose sleep over.

Hate to say it guys, but every manufacturer and tire style is a little different. You're not comparing apples to apples here. In addition to that, no speedo is 100% balls on accurate.

Tim: Yeah the speedo isn't accurate at all. Since I proved it to myself with my 18's and that speed camera lol.
I can't remember if it's 35 or 45.

Confirmed through context clues that it is a 45series tire.
