That all depends how you have it wired together. Both of them depend on that flat plug in the engine bay if each are added after the fact. If you had the external temp displayed already installed from factory, there's no issue. Conversely, if you had the foglights wired up the old fashioned way without using that plug like I do, you can still add the temp sensor.
