How much power can a stock auto tranny hold until it blows up? I just feel if your wanting to add over 200hp the thing that will hold you back is the transmission. 6spd or 5spd (depending on which power adder you chose) would be a good investment.

I've already discussed the 5AT to 5MT swap with Skippy, and he said it's very expensive and a one-off design. He said it would be around $5000-6000 total to do the swap. At that point I'd rather look around to trade for a v6 6MT.

The stock Trans. should be fine to at least 240 I believe they use the same transmission internals in the V6 and it comes with 240HP.

Greddy turbo kits make about that much on our motors, but they also have been known to ruin them too.
