@Z  swype is awesome!  Kinda pisses me off at times though, my nickname for it is: Make People Thing I'm Shitfaced While Texting Them Keyboard... Some times I'll fill in a whole sentence, go back and read it and be like... thats not even close! haha

Side note:  so I was washin my car last weekend and used some wheel/tire cleaner, anyway... It worked amazing... But stained the blacktop driveway.  My dad is pissed, lol.  Anyone know a way to remove it/clean it up? Lol

I believe so.  If you're already on an unlimited plan, you should be safe unless you change your plan

That's how out is with att. Because I'm an existing customer, I got grandfathered in.

I was talking to a mobile phone rep at one of the stores I visit and he showed me the new data plan rates.  It's something like $30/2gb $50/4gb and $80/10gb and $10/1gb when you go over.  Total bullshit.  You're grandfathered in if you already have an unlimited data plan though.  The crappy thing is that if you want to get a new phone, you're practically forced to sign a new contract and get raped on their new rates.  I'm about to leave Verizon to go to AT&T just based on principle.  They just keep fucking their customers over and over again.

I wouldn't blame you Tim.. vzw has been seriously lacking lately.. showing their true colors. If I wasn't grandfathered into unlimited data on my family plan id jump ship to sprint.. cheaper and no tiered data plans.. as of right now at least.

I'm being grandfathered in too, but it's the principle.  I basically can't get a new phone now unless I want to be bent over on the price or on my plan.  The worst part is that I don't pay for my phone, my company does.  I'm actually holding out to see what the iPhone 5 is going to be like.  I may see if my sister in law (who works for Verizon and hates them too) can get me a phone without changing my contract.

You should be able to get a new phone without changing your plan at all.. but i have no idea.. let us know whatyour sister in law says.  Im curious too.

Going to the tiered setup blows, but I've noticed that I haven't been using as much data lately. I do a lot of web browsing primarily, and I've only gotten up to like 250mb, and the billing cycle ends on the 18th. Now, I bet when I start streaming Pandora more often (I just ordered the Motorola car mount for my phone), my usage will jump up.

A couple months ago I was tethering my phone to my laptop, and would do skype video chats all night. I think the most I've ever done was like 6-7gb. Either way though, having to pay the same price for a lot less data sucks. At least I'm grandfathered in.

I know I can switch phones, but I just can't buy a new phone through Verizon at their special price they give you if you sign a new contract.  They're really trying to back people in a corner on this one.

Really? I just did that with my new phone and kept my data. Granted, it was with att and not vzw but it should still apply.

I'll be grandfathered in with my unlimited data plan so thats good.  But I've had NO problems with verizon (except the raping they give me every month for the unlimited data plan).  Its a large price to pay but I use it, so...

Anyway, I got Launcher Pro and the thing is awesome.  I only got the free one and can't tell from the description whats different with the unlocker... is it worth the $3.49?  Anyone have it that can give me some insight?  Thanks.

I use the free version right now, because I'm not sure I want to stick with android.  I know that some of the android guys like Mike or Brian probably use the paid version though.
