damn, I dont think it'll work that way then, but I dont know anything about the USAspec, someone else who does can chime in.. But I think you would have to get an android phone and tether it to your iphone/ipod like you were suggesting in order to stream pandora..

Tether...that's the word I was looking for.  Thanks Brian.  I guess there's a way of doing that with android phones that is free.  Like the MiFi app on cydia for iphones.

Actually, just realized that it's got a line in.  You're right.  Now I really want an android phone.

I want to get the HTC Sensation, but it's only available with T-mobile.  I don't think AT&T has any dual-core  cell phones.

Nelson - motorola atrix is dual core on ATT.

HTC Sensation has a locked bootloader meaning you can't boot custom rom's.

Read a review on it.  It seems pretty good.  Except for this excerpt:

"For starters, we're a little disappointed by the fact that Motorola and AT&T are loading up the Atrix with a considerable amount of bloatware. Vlingo, a handful of AT&T apps, Blockbuster, and a smattering of other programs all ship on the handset with no option to delete them. Even worse, some of them occasionally throw notifications up bugging the end user to register or use the applications. Adding insult to injury, Motorola (or AT&T, who has a habit of doing this sort of thing) has locked the device down in a way that not only prevents you from flashing the phone with a custom ROM, but also won't even let users install apps via email or SD card. That means that when our developers gave us a new version of the Engadget app to test out, it was a total no-go on this handset. So much for open!"

Go with T Mobile and get the Nexus S. It's currently Googles flagship phone, and is the most open and most badass thing available.

Let us know how it is, I'm still skeptical about this whole 3-D movement by the tech companies.. I think it's a gimmick..

Good call.  isn't it available on sprint now as well as a 4g phone?  or am I just thinking about t-mobile.  Either way, Mike you're right, the nexus S is a great phone considering it's pure android without any manufacturer skin.. and you'll get updates directly from google first.

I don't think the software is the same on sprint. I could be wrong but, I think Samsung had a little more influence on that model.

Nelson, you may want to reconsider the Motorola Atrix, the guys on xda-developers just unlocked the bootloader.. the potential for that phone just skyrocketed.
