I would agree to a certain extent. If you jail break it you can do anything you want with it. You can even put Snow Leopard on it.

It seems to be the natural progression of things.  Physical media is becoming less and less, and streaming and downloadable media is becoming the norm.  This has nothing to do with cell phones though.  Maybe it belongs in a different thread.  Try to stay on topic fuck sticks.

Yeah, my friend's iPad is jailbroken. I'm pretty sure there is a jailbreak, it just hasn't been released.

i dunno man. i'm sure iphone 4 has its cell reception problems. but every one has them all i know is that my best friend has never lost reception on his iph4, and two girls at work say they havent had problems. its probably "where you live" that matters. fact is smart phones today do more then what communicators did in star trek ... minus the teleport thing

It depends on where you hold the phone. It's a design flaw it has nothing to do with where you live!

Well, I must admit. I was wrong. My friends does it, but doesn't with the bumper. Mine doesn't do it at all regardless of how you hold the phone. I was reading that a recall would cost Apple 1.5 billion dollars.

When I tested the iPhone4 with my brother, we had a hard time getting it to drop the signal no  matter which way we held the thing. Either way, I planned on getting a case for it when I finally pull the trigger next year. On a side note, they have factory unlocked phones over here in case anyone's interested.

It will probably be fixed in a year. Once consumer reports drops down on something there really isn't a choice but, to do something about it. I don't know what that something will be maybe send everyone a free case. Z you have PM!
