The thing that sucks is, im gonna pay it.  Verizon has litterally never given me a problem (cell service, customer service, anything), so im gonna stick with em on that basis alone.  Why leave something that you know is good, for a maybe. 

Case in point, my aunt has the windows phone which she swears is amazing (my uncle works for microsoft, so the whole family is a fanboy family), now i cant remember who carries it, but ive been on the phone with her and had the call drop four times in a 6 minute call, just as she was driving home in her neighborhood.  For not having to deal with that... Ill eat the $30... Ill still be pissed about it, but whatever.

Just upgraded at Verizon too.  Yeup, they are charging a $30 upgrade fee.  Don't mind though since the phone was fairly inexpensive.  VZ fan boy here.  Cheesy

T Mobile started doing this also. Its going to be everyone before you know it. Generally with T Mobile they will waive it after a little arguing, and you can usually negotiate to get the phone for the new customer price.
