so i finally made it to android, what apps and stuff should i have? i think this leaves bill alone in the iphone catagory. i have the lg optimus V, same one for all the other letters V is for virgin.... mobile.

I wasn't a fan of the stock launcher and got launcher pro. There's a couple if other ones out there but I think LP had the best reviews and was the most stable. Dolphin is a sweet browser replacement. Beautiful widgets is another good widget pile to pick up. Battery left is a widget I picked up that accurately tells you how much battery you actually have once configured. HTH.

Getting back on the "fuck Verizon" bandwagon, I totally agree with you Brian. Their service sucks balls. I know I've said it before, but it's sad when your customers
and
employees hate you. I work for a company that has great service and can tell you that Verizon phone reps do all kinds of shit wrong. I hope they lose all their customers and get cut down to size. My contract is up, and I'm going to walk from them. I think everyone should boycott Verizon. Let's take those fuckers down.

I've had nothing but problems over the past 5 years. Their customer service is inconsistent. I've had nothing but problems with my phones too. After I moved to Ohio, their service has been spotty when it comes to 3g. At this point, they're going to lose my business based on principle. They can have the best coverage and fanciest phones (that are only limited by their network), but if their customer service sucks (like it does), then they're still a worthless company.

Another launcher that has a lot more features and is free is Go Launcher EX. I don't really like it that much though because it's not as smooth as LauncherPro Plus. LPP is in the progress of getting a full rewrite (don't hold your breath, it was supposed to be released in January), so when it does get updated it'll hopefully have a lot more features.
Also, I've recently switched to Opera Mobile for my web browser. I really like how its interface is. I went from Dolphin HD to Dolphin Mini to Miren to Opera Mobile, lol. The main thing that I like is how the address bar stays at the top of the page, so it gives me a lot more viewing space.
