Wow that sucks Tim. I've read a lot online about how shitty Blackberrry's are. I plan on picking up a Droid Incredible for Verizon sometime July. I currently have an LG Voyager, and the charger port is broken, so I have to wiggle the shit out of it and put weights on the plug so it charges. It seems like all phones nowadays are pieces of flaming shit. If your #6 died, I would think about moving away from Blackberry.

I have had my iPhone for 18 months and haven't had a single problem with it nor AT&T. You should get an iPhone Tim, since you are already a mac fan. How is AT&T up there?

AT&T absolutely sucks in the North East. Verizon is probably the best reception wise up here. Tim I would strongly suggest the Droid incredible it's pretty impressive, and there are a lot of FREE apps.


Mark I love Honey Moon, Rising Moon, and Blue Moon. Have you ever tried a Blue Woody? It's Blue Moon mixed with Woodchuck hard cider. It's amazing.

At this point no, it is not.  I only have a discount through work.  If I get the new job, they will probably end up picking up my phone bill.  

I'm also sorry to hear about your troubles with Verizon.  I haven't had much trouble with Verizon, but I do understand certain carriers have better service in different regions.

It's because every person I deal with is fucking inept.  Their service has gone to shit over the past 3 years.  I know, because in the past 3 years or so, this will be the 10th phone I've had to get.  I've noticed every time they change a policy and make shit worse for the customer.  I'm thinking of just going into the store and being a belligerent asshole to the manager and demanding they give me an iPhone.  I think it will be enough payback to give them shit for a few hours demanding something ridiculously insane like that.

That sucks.  I'm still surpised with your bad luck with Blackberry phones.  The Blackberry phones I've had are some of the best phones I've ever owned.

iPhone is not yet available on Verizon.

It looks like the newest smartphones for Verizon are either the Droid Incredible, or the Droid X. The Droid X looks pretty neat, but it's a fucking monster. It has a 4.3" screen. It doesn't seem like an ideal type of mobile device. It should be out pretty soon I think.

Just had Rising Moon this spring for the first time, after I had it, I went to all of the local liquor stores to find more, only 1 had any and I bought their last case...sofaking good!  I will have to try the Blue Woody, although I am not the biggest fan of Cider beer...what about the Leiney's have you tried any of their stuff?  I love their summer wheat (I think that's what it is).  Sam Adams Coastal Wheat isn't bad either.  Next I am going to try UFO, I have heard it is really good!

I went to the store after work today and they were able to re-flash my phone.  So, my phone works, but it's only half fixed.  The problem that I've had with all my Tour's is still there.  It just wasn't happening at the store because it was just re-flashed.  As soon as I got out to my car from the store, my ringtone problem came back.  This was a very different experience from what I've had before though.  They were actually pleasant and helpful.  I have no intent on going to AT&T as much as I want an iPhone.  I'm really resistant to the Droid stuff for some reason.  The incredible looks cool, but I don't want a full touch screen phone if it's not an iPhone.  I have never had good luck with touch screen phones.  The only touch screen I have ever liked using is on the iPhone.  I'm actually happy with the BlackBerry, but maybe I'm just too picky by expecting my phone to work the way it's supposed to.

There is a Toyota plant opening about 15 minutes from my house. It will employ 2,000. The town it's in, the population is 140. I think it will be open in 16 months and they will be making Corollas.
